On episode 20 of "Innovate and Educate, Creative Bulletin News", we are going to talk about a problem that involves the whole educational community and the entire society.
Yolanda García Gil, an expert in bullying and cyberbullying, will share the main aspects that can make a huge difference in any child´s wellbeing. She will explain which are the warning signs that we need to identify as parents or as teachers.
Besides, she will invite us to reflect on the attitude of willingness and openness that we need to adopt when it is required to take assertive decisions for the benefit of the bullied and the bully too. Emphasizing on the relevance of a fluid and respectful communication between all educational agents, and especially, she will mention the wonderful voluntary work that she performs at AMACAE (Asociación Madrileña contra el Acoso Escolar).
Finally, Yolanda shares with us the publication of a collection of short stories she has written ("¿Quieres ser mi primer amigo?"), which she combines as resources during her intervention in the collective workshops where she collaborates.
This interview will open our hearts and will definitely invite all of us to awaken our gaze to other ways of tackling this problem!
